She firmly believes that health-care should be equitable and accessible to all members of the community and aims to improve the quality of life of all her patients.
Background
Dr Achong completed her MBBS at the University of Queensland and advanced training in endocrinology through the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital. She completed a PhD concerning insulin requirements in pregnancy and breastfeeding in women with type 1 diabetes. She has been working in endocrinology since 2014. She brings a wealth of experience in hormone management.
